Reader comments for "Claude Henry Learns To Gobble"

"I read Claude Henry Learns to Gobble today and it was wonderful! It is a great children's book and very well done. I think it's perfect and I wouldn't change a thing. I look forward to you getting others published, and if I can ever help in any way, don't hesitate to ask. Oh, by the way, my father's name was Claude and his father, (my papaw) was named Henry. How about that for a coincidence?"
- Randy Martin

"I decided to illustrate the project as soon as I read it. It's a really encouraging little tale, and is confidence-building. What happens in the valley alone makes this a Five-Star wonderful children's tale."
- Kevin Collier

Excerpt from "Claude Henry"
As Big Chick strutted away, Claude Henry felt a sudden urge to gobble. He spread his tail feathers, drug his wings on the barn's floor, and opened his mouth.
He fully expected to gobble, but he was just too little. All that came out was, "twerp, twerp, twerp!"
"Oops! That wasn't a gobble!" Claude Henry gasped.
He quickly covered his mouth with a tiny wing!
Big Chick led the laughter this time!
"Give it up, Claude Henry!"
"You'll never gobble!"
"Are you a hen?"
"Claudette?"
All of those insults and all of the laughter directed at him, made Claude Henry feel worse than ever!
"What did they know, anyway? My gobble will be the best gobble ever in all of the world, someday! I will show all of them!"
